Born in Durban and raised in Kokstad, Ashwin Jood is a two-time NCAA All-American and certified personal trainer. His sprint career took him to a world athletics ranking of 136 and the number one NCAA Division II ranking in 2024.
After returning to South Africa in 2025, he built Dankie Spoed to turn elite-level discipline into practical, personalised coaching for people at every stage of their fitness journey.
